The evolution of door security is moving beyond conventional keys toward biometric identification, connected access and intelligent monitoring. Responding to this trend, Chinese smart security manufacturer TENON continues to expand its portfolio of intelligent locks and AI-powered smart doors for residential and commercial applications.

TENON focuses on the smart lock and smart door sector, combining product development with in-house manufacturing and OEM/ODM capabilities. Its solutions are designed for a wide range of environments, including residential properties, hotels, apartments, universities and real estate projects.
The company's smart lock range includes several access technologies. Fingerprint door locks provide convenient biometric entry, while facial recognition locks offer hands-free authentication. Password locks and intelligent locks for glass doors provide additional solutions for different architectural and project requirements.
TENON's latest-generation intelligent door solutions take this concept further by integrating multiple authentication methods into a single security platform.
The AI-powered fully automatic armored smart door supports eight access methods, including 3D facial recognition, palm vein recognition, fingerprint, password, IC card, mechanical key, APP control and other connected access functions. This multi-method approach is designed to simplify access management in environments where multiple users require different levels of access.

Facial recognition operates with 3D live detection technology, helping reduce the risk of unauthorized access through static photos or video displays. The system is designed to deliver a rapid response of approximately 0.1–0.2 seconds.
Security is not limited to the locking mechanism. TENON's smart door combines intelligent identification with visual monitoring and a reinforced door structure.
A 24-hour electronic peephole, remote visual intercom and high-definition indoor display allow users to monitor visitors before granting access. Dual AI cameras provide a 140-degree wide-angle field of view to improve visibility around the entrance.
The physical door structure is equally important. The smart door features a 90 mm multi-layer armored construction, a C-grade lock cylinder and a nano-coating design intended to improve resistance to corrosion.
For markets with demanding weather conditions, TENON has developed the system with IPX6 water resistance and broad installation compatibility. The door can be configured for hinged doors, sliding doors, thermal-break aluminum doors and glass door applications, subject to the specified installation dimensions.
TENON also focuses on durability and long-term maintenance. Its lock body is designed for up to 200,000 operating cycles, while the product is engineered for a potential service life of up to 15 years. A rechargeable lithium battery system and Type-C emergency power option provide additional convenience.

Behind these products is TENON's manufacturing infrastructure. The company employs more than 500 people and operates a 20,000-square-meter production facility equipped with four imported PCB SMT production lines and supported by more than 40 professional engineers.
With nearly 200 patents and product certifications from organizations such as SGS and Intertek, TENON continues to build its capabilities as a smart security technology and manufacturing partner.
For brands, builders, developers and distributors, the company offers flexible OEM and ODM cooperation, supporting partners from product development through production and project delivery.
